Guangdong Polytechnic Normal University

The School of International Education, formerly known as the International Education Exchange Center, was founded in 2004. It began to enroll international students in 2000 and changed its name to The School of International Education of Guangdong Normal University of Technology in 2009. In January 2019, the school changed its current name. Mainly engaged in the education of foreign students in China and the enrollment, teaching, management, logistics services and other foreign-related education. The college has recruited and trained more than 3000 students from more than 50 countries in Asia, Africa, Europe, the United States and other continents. At present, there are 380 students in the school, among which 80% are born with degrees. Since 2013, when the Provincial government launched the Scholarship for International Students in Guangdong, 287 students have been awarded this award, ranking 7th among universities in Guangdong for successive years.

Since its establishment, the college has gradually formed a multi-level education system, which is based on the university's dominant disciplines, featuring all-English teaching, with undergraduate education as the main body and postgraduate education as well as language education. At present, the college has four undergraduate programs, namely computer science, International Business, Finance and business Administration, and master's programs of education. The Master of Education is the first and only British master of Education program in The province for international students.
Since its establishment, through external introduction and internal promotion, the college has gradually formed a teaching staff and management team with rich teaching and management experience and strong comprehensive strength. The college has 10 faculty members, including 7 full-time teachers, among whom there are 1 professor, 5 associate professors, 1 master supervisor, 2 doctors and 5 masters. 85.7% of the full-time teachers have senior professional titles, and 4 have overseas study background.
In the past five years, the scientific research level of the full-time teachers has been continuously improved: at the end of 2018, it was approved as the Humanities and Social Science Popularization Base of Guangdong Province.
