With a history of more than 80 years, Liuzhou City Vocational College (LCVC) is a state-run vocational college, and has five departments including the Department of Mechanical and Automobile Engineering and three schools including the School of International Education. It offers 42 higher vocational majors such as Electrical Automation Technology. LCVC has 17163 full-time students and 314 international students. LCVC has the largest number of international students in Guangxi. LCVC has one national-level key major and five provincial demonstrative majors and has established close cooperation with large enterprises such as SGMW and Guangxi Construction Engineering Group to jointly cultivate talents. Based in Liuzhou, embracing Guangxi and radiating ASEAN, LCVC is committed to the development of the internationalization of vocational education. Since 2004, it has established friendly and cooperative relations with more than 30 schools in Indonesia, Laos, Italy and many other countries, and has cultivated more than 1600 international students from various countries in the world. From 2017 to 2018, LCVC has been awarded “Top 50 International Influential Colleges” in China for two consecutive years. In 2020, LCVC was selected as a member of “Luban Workshop Construction Alliance”. In addition, LCVC has been awarded “Advanced Unit of Liuzhou Public Security Basic Foreign Affairs” and “Excellent Unit of Guangxi Universities for Overseas Education in China” many times.
