Yulin Normal University is located in Yulin City, the hometown of famous linguist Wang Li, an excellent tourist city in China, the millennium old city in Southeast Guangxi, and an important channel and key node connecting Guangdong, Hong Kong, Macao, Dawan district and Beibu Gulf Economic Zone. It is a full-time ordinary undergraduate university directly under Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. At present, the university has 16 secondary colleges, covering 10 disciplines such as economics, law, pedagogy, literature, history, science, engineering, management, agriculture and art, with 65 ordinary undergraduate majors. The school recruits students from 25 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government) and countries in Southeast Asia and Central Asia. The school was founded in 1945, formerly known as Guangxi provincial Yulin Normal School. In 1958, it was upgraded to Guangxi Yulin Normal College and began to recruit junior college students at the level of higher education. It was renamed Yulin Normal College in 1994. In 2000, with the approval of the Ministry of education, Yulin Normal College, Yulin Institute of education, Yulin higher vocational and technical college and Yulin Branch of Guangxi Radio and Television University merged and upgraded to Yulin Normal College. In 2007, he passed the undergraduate teaching level evaluation of the Ministry of education with excellent results. In 2013, it was listed as the newly added master's degree awarding unit and the project construction unit in Guangxi.
